Advise
Know where AI helps first, and what it must never touch.
Most agencies already have staff using AI tools. The question is whether it is governed. We map how work actually moves through your agency, draw the data boundaries, and give you a sequence you can defend to your board.
For state HFAs: a state AI-policy alignment review maps your obligations under your state’s AI executive order or policy into an HFA-specific governance framework.
AI readiness & opportunity assessment
A short, fixed-scope engagement: a workflow map of your programs, where staff are already using consumer AI and the exposure that creates, a red/yellow/green data-boundary report, a roadmap scored by hours saved and risk, and a briefing for your leadership team. Most of the lift is ours, not your staff’s.
AI governance
The policy layer that makes adoption defensible before the first license is bought: a board-ready AI use policy, a vendor-evaluation checklist (including questions for the AI features your existing software vendors are pitching), a staff acceptable-use one-pager, and incident basics. And when it is time for buy-in, we will train your commissioners and present at your board meeting ourselves.
Process & workflow improvement
We start by listening: sitting with your team to understand the processes you want easier, whatever they are, and how the work actually flows today. Then an honest evaluation of that flow: the gaps, the double entry, the handoffs where work stalls, the workarounds everyone quietly relies on. Only then do we ask which steps should be automated and which deserve a purpose-built tool.
