Fair Market Rents for the Housing Choice Voucher Program, Moderate Rehabilitation Single Room Occupancy Program, and Other Programs, Fiscal Year 2027
HUD is publishing Fiscal Year 2027 Fair Market Rents (FMRs) for the Housing Choice Voucher Program, Moderate Rehabilitation Single Room Occupancy Program, and other related programs, as required by law to be issued annually and effective October 1. The notice explains the methodology used to calculate the FY 2027 FMRs and outlines the procedures PHAs must follow to request reevaluations of their FMRs, consistent with requirements under the Housing Opportunity Through Modernization Act of 2016 (HOTMA).
